i have 3 12" kicker subs, each sub is 8ohm (250 watt max), and if wired parallel, i get 2ohm load. now what i need help with is what amp i need. do i need a mono or a regular channel amp? i was told a mono amp, but i want another opinion. someone link me up.thanks

Actually you have a 2.7 ohm load (2.6666666) so you might as well get something 2 or 4 ohm. 750 @ 2 ohms is a lot easier to find thatn 750 @ 4 ohms. So you need 375 x 1 RMS @ 2 ohms (Monoblock amp) ... Check into these amp company's: Cadence, US Amps, MMATS, Avionixx, and Soundstream. Let us know.

i have been searching high and low, for an amp to satisfy my subs...i have never been this lost on car installations in the past, so can someone please help me. i just dont know what wattage amp i need!!
