Hi,

can anyone help me with the factory subwoofer in a 2001 jeep wrangler. I want it to work with an aftermarket radio. Do I need a special harness?

This applies to the small 8" woofer int the center counsel.

The sub amp uses the tap from the speekers for the input so when you install new radio all you have to do is pay attention to the polarity of the speaker lines make sure they match.

when you,re done connecting the radio make sure that the power antena wire (blue wire) is connected .. it is very important because that is how the amp gets the power.

It is very simple to get the sub working. when everything is connected right it should work...
