Post:  sub model, coil impedance.  Amp model, rated output.  In general, it's a bad idea to connect the two coils to separate channels.

need more specs on the amp, If it is 2 or 1 ohm stable, I am going to assume at best your only going to have a 2 ohm stable amp.    The most efficent way to wire the sub would be.
Wire the sub in series giving you an 8 ohm load then bridge it on 2 of the channels giving you a 4 ohm load on each side.

My bad on this wording.  I meant it's a bad idea to use a 4 channel amp for the sole purpose of powering one DVC sub...which would call for bridging a coil to two of the channels and the other coil to the other two channels.

The amp is 2 ohm stable....

I did wat jeffchilcott said and wired the sub in serial and bridged it on two channels of the amp , it seems to be working alright.but just wanted to know if there is difference between wiring it in serial or bridging a coil to two of the channels and the other coil to the other two channels?

Wiring the coils in series makes an 8 ohm load onto two channels.  The amplifier's output would be half of the rating your amp gives for a 4 ohm bridged load.  I don't know what the RMS output is by what you have posted.  Only half the amp is being used and you have the other two channels unused.

On the contrary, bridging the coils separately (as if you were wiring two individual woofers) to both front and rear of the 4 channel amp is an output of the 4 ohm bridged output  times 2.  The entire amp is being used at the limit of its potential.

The difference is about 4 times the output.  But I cautioned about using a DVC woofer this way above.
