Well, you need to give us a bit more information. What type of speakers, umm the specifications or a link where there are specifications for the speaker(s). Also, what type of music you listen to may affect what is the best design that suits you. It could be useful as well to know your design constraints, ie what kind of space do you have to work with (this may limit the types of box designs that work for you). This site has plenty of DYI links and information on designing boxes. You can also find programs online that will help you in the calculation process.
