hey all new here would like to know what you guys think of ample audio exonic 15 inch competition subs. My friend has 2 of them in a ported box powerd by a ample 1500 dx and they hit 143 dbs and tthey seem like they would be good to me, jus wanted to know what you guys think of them, thanx in advance.

From what I know and have heard Ample Audio subs are loud but have very good clearity at high volumes. The box that you speak of above sounds like a well built box but if you really want SPL go for a sloted box, you cant beat them in just plain loud plus they work great for sound quality with no port noise. As with most all 15" subs you will have to becareful though it will still distort easily from just the size but even with that they definatly will move plenty of air.

Ample's 10s are awesome, that haven't been out there much lately. But they used to makes some good amps and subs. atleast their 10's were good! and there high end amps
