dyna mat or sound absorbing material may help lessen the intensity of the shaking and turn down the bass

i think no matter how much sound deading you do in a car that mirror is still gonna shake like hell my buddy has gone through about 3 mirrors or so in a 91 accord he is only running 2 12w3v2s JL and giving em only 150 watts each.

Where the ball/pivot thing is, , wrap elastic bands in there really tight.  It works good enough that it wont flop around on you.     My mirrow would just flop over when my bass hit, ,that trick fixed it.

either turn it down or learn to use your side mirrors as your rear view or to look backwards without swerving. there will come a point when your all your mirrors will loosen up from the vibration. most rear views arent all one piece so the rubber band trick wont work

My wall makes my mirror usless so I kinda quit trying to find ways to stop them from vibrating. The ruber band trick sounds like sound advice to me, but its a good chance that if its gonna vibrate then its gonna vibrate and there is nothing you can do about it.

Screw it , rip the damn thing off and leave it off!! You still have your side mirrors, and you can always just look behind while backing up. But then again with no mirror where are you gonna hang your fuzzy dice, air fresheners, tassels, etc.
