HERE is the Metra info for this vehicle.  Are these the kits you are using?

I'm not sure which kit your using, but I will just give you a little advice. Don't use the crap that comes "free" from most car audio places when you buy a head unit. I ordered my Pioneer headunit from Cardomain.com and the pocket kit they sent for my 03 Explorer was not usable. I struggled with it for two hours before realizing that it just didn't take the mounting location into consideration and didn't have enough hardware to get my HU in there. I went to Circuit City and bought a METRA kit for my vehicle and it worked like a charm. I would suggest that route.....

Well the guy came back at me talking about that his inside car speakers r not working. When I first connected his pioneer deck  he had previously had ran the cheap amp.So I just ran the hu.Now when I took a look into his power wire it was not connected to a fuse. Now he told me the speakers kept shutting off everytime he hit a bump and turned on everytime he does what could be the problem?I already checked the wires on the radio  and everything seems to be fine so I made sure all the wires was sucured. When he left again all the speakers left working. And I disconnecetd his power cord that he had ran to his battery till he comes back agian and I could put a fuse.THanx for the info on the install kit.But the problem is the kit is the one that is describe in the metra catalog and the dash won't go in propperly.I don't want to start cutting but if do what can I use to cut it?
