with 300 to 400 watts I would probable go with either some kappa perfect, or kicker comp, these are fairly inexpensive, can you give a budget for your subs this will help out to give you the best subs for your budget

Loking at the Hifonics HZ10 for 59.00 or the MTX t4510-04 for same price. The Hifonics Zeus has a 300 watt rating while the MTX is 225? Which one

I've always liked MTX subs.  I wouldn't worry at all about the wattage rating when they're in the same general range.

I think your choice should depend on the space you have available, what application you plan to use them in (ported, large sealed, small sealed, etc.), and your sound / spl goals.  These considerations are FAR MORE IMPORTANT than worrying about a 75w difference in power rating - a spec that is generally useless when considered outside of an enclosure anyway.

So, what are your sound goals?  What kind of music do you listen to?  What systems have you liked listening to in the past?  Boomy? Tight?  Clean?  Loud?  How large a volume enclosure are you shooting for?  These are far more important questions, in my opinion.
