Well, I'm going to attempt to install the SRT100 Sirius tuner to my Panasonic head unit today. My question is, where can I most easily mount the antenna? The vehicle is a 2000 4-Runner. If I put it on the roof, how the heck can I do that without having an ugly wire running up there?

Drilling through the body of the vehicle is pretty much out of the question for me. I'm more than capable of installing the tuner, but drilling any holes is a no-no. The only thing I can think of is to run the wire out the back hatch and straight up to the roof. ??

Most of those antennas have a mile of cable with them....My suggestion would be to run it behind the dash up the Front A pillar route it behind the headliner and take it to the Rear of the vehicle....

Then just go right outside the rear hatch....It doesnt have to be in the center of the vehicle so just place it right near the hatch and you wont have a lot of the cable showing on the outside.....

Sometimes i would do it on the roof and just run the wire underneith the weatherstripping around the windshield then i would run it into the engine bay and back into the car by going through a grommet in the firewall or drilling a hole, ive also one it on the rear by the hatch and just ran it through the panels.
