im looking at obcon but they dont have the volume im looking for.  i have made my own and love it but i dont want to go through it all again.  im looking to run one 12" IDMAX D2 off of a Directed audio 2400d.  ID says 1.33-1.53 sealed.  any ideas come to mind.

Nope, don't know of any good prefab boxes. There is only one exception, but I improved it by building my own to driver's specs. I just looked for it but they don't make it anymore.

You can check these
RT Enterprizes

might be time to pick up another sheet of mdf then.  its just too time consuming.  i work on other peoples cars all day, i just dont want to do the work on my own now :( .  but its time to get rid of that car and get a new one.  i dont want to take up so much space in the new one so im going to a single 12" driver.

thanks for looking.

I know what you mean, I have a fiberglass box in my trunk that I have put off finishing for over 3 years.

Check out ProBox......https://www.proboxrocks.com/home.shtml

Also may want to look at Audio Enhancers...  https://www.audioenhancers.com

I have used both of these companies for boxes and have never been disapointed....

I have a good prefab, I use it to sit on while I am taking a smoke break from building a real box

Look at Subzero as well.  And I agree that you should also check out the specs and make sure the enclosure will be right for your sub.

the obcon box is ok at best, i bought one to see how it was, because the owner of my store i install for wants some pre fabs to sell, I had to memphis 12, and up to punch stage 2 in it and it sounded really good, but when loaded with to punch stage3 the box was destroyed, rf's pl3 is the only prefab box that will hold up to the bass, but is only built for the rf subs. just build your own unless you want to go with another sub.

Those Obcon boxes are pretty bottom of the line as far as prefab boxes go. Currently I have a subzone box, but im probably going to build my own box out of sheer boredom. Anyone ever hear of a prefab slot ported box called the "24 Pounder" I went to a shop today that had stacks of them everywhere.
