My girlfriend has an 01 honda civic she has one power acoustic amp (LT980/2) Powering two 12inch Power acoustic Subs(fubr12) i ran it with 4 gauge from the battery according to her voltometer (which is built into her radar detector ) her volt are jumping alot when the bass hits, im talking like 14.1 to 11.9 and sumtimes even worse. i have a cap but i didnt install it yet ive been to lazy but do you think that will do it

doubtful. check your wiring job. tell her to learn to live with it unless you want to install a high output alternator. the cap might work at least by evening out the voltage a bit.

Your meter is not accurate, at all, not in the least. You can't get an accurate voltage reading from the cig lighter plug. If you are really worried about it test the voltage at the battery.

Ensure that her ground wires are all upgraded as well. Electricity is an algebra equation, what you do to one side you must do to the other.
