i gotta say a toasted meatball sub from subway just a lil joke...what are looking for sound quality or just loud or a little of both? what kinda amp you got?

well i will get a sub once i get subs... im looking for both...a lil more towards quality since truck cabs are pretty easy to blow out

Just look around theres a lot 10 inch that you can get for $500. If your looking hard hitting one of my buddys got's one 10' L7 and it hits 145db. And for SQ, i don't know to much about that. ------------- Hurry get me a steel hanger, elec tape, zip ties, a monkey and a snorgle. trust me i've ran wires with less

Take a zero off of that number....now that's a strikt budjet. You just starting to look at stuff, first system? Suggest you take some time, go from thread to thread, page to page in this forum....do some reading. There's a lot of wisdom in these car audio guys. You'll soak it up like a sponge.

Yo, all you people are going to talk s**t about jl,but i love how they sound. I know they are overpriced, but what in car audio is not overpriced? For the record, i have never bought anything new or full price ever. ebay, want ads, and word of mouth sales! I'v herd 4 w0s hooked up to a 1000/1jl amp. I am not sure how it was done, but it sounded like the sky was fallin!!! I have 2 w0s right now inside of a 1990 cadilliac broham d'elegance, which is a big car, and it still pounds!!!! I'd say find the best deal u can on some nice jl audio stuff.

OVER PRICED? I just sold a 10w3v2 for $91 in mint condition all but new tonite on ebay, run's $225 at the shop. and for the record i saw a 10" ground zero nuke spike a higher number at comp. than 3 10" wo's, no beef here. I prouldly wear my jl audio t-shirt often! I don't think you could find a more advanced sub for under $100 new even ebay!
