I want to build a Watts/Voltage metering system where at the flip of a switch I can view either output, designed where only the LED displays are visible in the dash.  Am I dreaming or is it possible?

It's certinaly possible, but you probally won't be able to do it (not shure of your skill level, but that would take a fair bit)

Phonix Gold makes some volt meters that dash mount.  If you get one of those and chop it an hook it up to your current amp, that'll give you a voltmeter....
