do I do with it? Right now I have it sitting in the cargo net in my trunk. What does everyone else do with it once they put it back there? Does someone make a mounting bracket for it? Pictures would be very helpful too.
Thanks

most of us would just use the proper GMRC-01 interface and not worry about relocating the old radio, plus you get your door chimes back...

Yeah, I should have got the PAC interface, but I got the harness instead because I could get it that day.  I didn't want to wait.  I wish I did wait, I don't know where to put the thing now.

i used put them inside the fender area on the drivers side... you can make up a bracket to screw it to the support there and even fold the inside carpet/trunk liner to hide most of the radio..... like i said... a lot of needless work.....

If you dont really care about the chimes does it matter if the stock player is installed. I have had my HU in for a year now with out the factory one. I think the chimes were annoying anyway.

put it under your seat then you can actually hear the chimes.. or mount it under the dash on passenger side.. just drill into the metal brackets down there.. cuz if its in the trunk you wont hear any chimes for sure

Thanks guys, for now I hid it in the trunk, but may move it or remove it eventually.
