I currently have 2 12" Rockford Fostgate RFP4412 subwoofers in a sealed box sitting in my closet because I am not sure what kind of amp I should hook them up to.I want the full potential I can get out of the subwoofers in my Civic hatchback. When it comes to car audio, I don't know much. Here are the specs on the subs:

Nominal Power Handling - 200 Watt

Peak Power Handling - 400 Watt

Frequency Respond - 28 Hz - 400 Hz

Sensitivity - 88 dB

Impedance - 4 ohm

Woofer Material - Poly / Plastic

Surround Material- Foam

Enclosure- Non-Enclosed

Top Mounting Depth- 5.75 In.

Thanks, I would really appreciate it.

If you can find a JBL 600.1 buy it, they are great amps but can be hard to find b/c JBL doesnt make that line anymore.    If you cant find the JBl check out ikesound.com, the have usually have good deals on amps, I know they have a Orion 600D for pretty cheap. The Memphis Power Reference 500W amp would be a good choice to.

If you get that amp, make shure to hook it up in stereo.  It will fry the amp if you bridge it.
