Are the Viper amps know for over heating is my amp bad? Its in an some what vented area, and its 1 ohm stable, but im running at 2ohms.Its not cutting off while its playing, but after you turn it off and then back on it will go into protection.Until it cools down a little. This is a refurb amp.

I must say this amp slams! Im happy with its power, just wish it wouldnt go into protection so much.

Sounds like it could be bad, that or you are not giving it enough current. How big is your alternator? Is it stock? What kind of car? Are you SURE you are running 2 ohms? Give us some more info, please... Fill us in on the rest of the system.

That or get a Nakamichi!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
