Ok am lookin to replacing of the stock 6x9's in my accord. My thought is to make an adapter and drop in some mids, which is where i need some advise on. My components are 90rms that will be going in the front. Now, i need a mid that will take say around 90rms to 100rms and what to look for in an amp that is 100/4. Reminder, this is budget. Amp will most likely get bought at a pawn shop. Saw some PPI's ans Arc's in the display for around $100.
Please enlighten me. Im stuck on what to do. All i know how to do is design.lol

Maybe that wasnt clear enough I need some midbasses to put in the rear deck of my car to replace the stock 6x9's. I need some recommendations- ANYTHING...anything thats reasonable for price. AMP...anything 4 channel thats SQ i guess right now will suffice. Also what to look for in a SQ amp if i do hit the pawn shop.... I have heard that the Arc and PPI art series are really nice amps...am i wrong? ------------- I need quality equipment, feel free to donate.

If you get a working, good condition PPI Art 100x4 for areoud $100, consider yourself very lucky.

I would consider that actually finding an amp like that would be like finding a gold plated platinum trimmed four leaf clover with 10 hot babes fighting over you for it as far as luck goes.

These look to be pretty good: https://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC04SSMB6 Some 6 inch W0s would be cheaper but can only handle 75 watts. -------------

IMO, it's a waste of money to put just a Midrange driver in the back. It's not going to change your front sound stage much, if any.
What kind of car do you have? Does it actually have a back seat? If so, you are basically screwing your passengers out of high frequencies.
Save your money, just get a pair of 6x9 coaxial or triaxials
