So, what's the question? Do you want to know what size fuse to put in the #4 under the hood, at the battery, or what? If that is the question, the answer is a 150 amp fuse. If that is not the question, then repost, using better language, so we can understand EXACTLY where you are asking to put a fuse...

First of all, if you have a 200 amp fuse/breaker on a number 4 cable, you are asking for trouble - that is a 33% overcurrent situation for your power cable, and you run the risk of starting a fire. A number 4 cable is rated for 150 amps maximum.

Secondly, if you are already tripping a 200 amp fuse/breaker, you need a bigger fuse/breaker, but before you go an dump a bigger one under the hood, read the above line. If you actually read that line, and understand it, you will make the logical conclusion that you need a bigger power cable, with the proper value protective device in it.

If you go to a number 2 power cable, you will protect it at 225 amps or close to it, BUT NEVER OVER THAT VALUE.

If you jump all the way to a 1/0 power cable, you would fuse it at 350 amps, or close to it, BUT NEVER OVER THAT VALUE.
