hey whats up guys just wanted to know if ther is a quick way of checking a cd player to see if it powers on. thanks

yea, touch the power and remote lead to the + post of the bat and do the same w/ the neg lead on the cd to the - post of your batt. don't let the speaker leads touch any thing though. Obviously there won't be any sound...

you don't need to do anything with the remote lead....   just hook the yellow, and red to the positive of a battery, and the black tot he negative.  Dun deal

oops, thats what I meant by the remote, the ignition/ red wire.
