Hey fellas, just a real quick question. I am thinking about invertin my subwoofer (basket exposed) to get some extra room in the box (which is just a tad too small). Anyhow, usually, when u do this, u reverse the polarity correct? right, now, my amp has a switch on it that says phase 0-180. at the moment its still mounted regularly, and wired pos-pos/neg-neg. if i invert it, could i leave it wired the same, and just flick that switch to 180? or whats the deal, i dont really know what to do with that. thanks alot.

Yes, that's all you need to do.  The only time you would have to rewire the subs themselves is when you have both normal and inverse-mounted subs.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
