I am looking at the HK-2000D MA Audio amp to push my 2 MA Audio 1200XL subs.  Now, it says it will push 1500watts RMS at 17.0 volts.  Now, how do you get 17 volts to the amp?

Thanks

Wade

Not sure about that, but I do have a question about how are the sub's quality do do they hit very hard? I remember a couple years ago my friend had 4 of the cheaper one's that sounded nice. Just wandering how there newer sub's are.

You don't ----- MA is trying to inflate their wattage numbers.

Dishonesty is one of the first reasons I leave a company.  Why keep going with MA --- because it looks neat?

I built a box for two of the same speakers for a guy and I was only putting 400rms to each sub and they drop hard and sound good.  I am going with the Visonik V918XD (HK2000D) and I am going to try and achive 1500rms over 14.4.  That will be over 300rms per coil but hooked up right and use correctly will be great.
