I own a 1995 Eagle Talon FWD TSi , and while I can hook up an aftermarket deck with just a wiring harness, the haynes book says something about a stock amp. Anyone know where the stock amp is or if this model even has it?
I think it may be going to hell, because I'm getting some serious clipping in the low end in my speakers, definitely sounds like a distorted amp.

look for an infinity logo on the stock radio. if it has the infinity system look under the passenger seat for the amp. once you find it, rip it out and throw it away... j/k. it will sound much better without it.
