We installed a phone kit into a 2005 Audi A8, pretty basic install.
We did unplug the air bag connector and steering wheel control harnesses from the knee panel when we removed it. After putting everything back, the air bag light came on and the steering wheel up down controls stopped working.

Anybody know something about these?

IIRC, must pull airbag fuse beofre disconnecting air bag harness/connector. As for steering controls, I have no idea. Probably a dealer reset unless you know any Audi/VW owners with a VAG tool.
