I have a '99' Dodge Ram pickup with the original AM/FM/Cass. radio, I replaced this unit with a OEM AM/FM CD/Cass. from a '98' Dodge Durango.  After plugging it in, everything worked fine except I have no volume control.  I hear music (REAL LOUD MUSIC!) but turning the volume control knob has no effect.  Is there something incompatable between my '99' Dodge Ram and the '98' Dodge Durango that controls the volume or do I need to look at the volume control in the radio itself?  This is an Infinity system with no controls on the steering wheel.

If it is the unit, can you suggest a place to have it repaired?  I want to stay with a OEM unit that allows me to play both cassettes and CD's.

Thanks for you help,
