Hi all,

I need to get some dealers who carry memphis or people who have heard this amp its the new Memphis 16-MC500D
I've got a chance to pick one of these up at a grat price and I want to get some thoughts on it first

Excellent sound quality. Clean 250 mono watts into 4 ohms. Not less than 2-ohms stable, however.

Exelent amp...I deal and run memphis in my stereo...I love this little amp...Like dyohn said Excellent sound Q....

Powerful 500 watts at 2 ohms....Clean amp with a small footprint that you can put anywhere....

I highly recomend this amp to anyone whose application will fit this amp...

SO this amp will put out the full 500 watts at 2ohms its not an overating?
I just want to be sure, Id like to get it so I can run a Single P2 12 off it in our spare Kia Sportage

Yes, the ratings on Memphis gear are honest and maybe a bit under-rated.

I had the 16-MC250D for awhile. Great amp, and definatly underrated. Although it says it is not 1-ohm stable I ran it at 1-ohm for the couple months I had it and had no problems. When I sold my Cavalier and bought my Crown Vic I got a bigger amp becasue the memphis simply wasnt putting out enough power to get the bass I wanted in the bigger car.

i got a friend the is running all m class from memphis and has the 500d amp very underrated good clean power he has 2 m class 12's in a sealed box and in a reg cab truck he hit 139.8 dbs but yeah i would jump on any deal of memphis that you can get!

I already bought it, it was a steal.. let me rephrase that its not stolen.. but I did get it for $125.00 no warranty or anything but I've never needed one from my distributor he hooks me up with free stuff all the time to make up for the no warranty on equipment

I can live with that, I just wish he could get some eclispe stuff
