a friend of mine has just installed some front speakers speakers in his accord, but they don't sound very loud (comparing to the back ones) i asked him if he had gotten the polarity right, and he didn't sound too confident. so the question is, if he HAD gotten it wrong, what would be the audible signs of that...will they play at all?

can we still test it with using the 9V battery using + to + / - to - with speakers already attached, or do i have to disconnect the battery?
