------total cost roughly $1300-$1500

SYSTEM 3:
$500 pheonix gold titanium 800.1 (800 rmsx1 @ 2 oms)
$339 phoenix gold titanium 500.4 (4x75 rms @ 4 ohms)
2 10" svc infinity perfects vq - I already own
------total cost of amps is roughly $850.00

$525 cadence zrs4 (4x????)matching 4 channel amp
$450-$500 re xxx 15"

I think the second would be the best. You only have to deal with one amp, and it is also the least expensive (besides number 3). Keep in mind that you might need a upgraded charging system for that setup to.

Get a separate Memphis 4-channel for the interiors. Then I'd buy another Memphis for the sub amp. I'm not a fan of 5 channel amplifiers for the reason that change is harder down the road if it isn't quite what you want. Of those three subwoofer options I'd personally go with the single Brahma 15". Unless you plan to compete in SPL competitions anything above 1000w of subwoofer power is stupid, if you ask me. The subwoofer is rated at 1600w rms. The max spl jump from 1000w to 1600w will barely be audible at those kind of volume levels. Not worth it for the 2000w Cadence, imo. What are you running for your mids and highs? This will have a larger impact on final sound quality than anything else. ------------- New Project: 2003 Pathfinder

I'd say #3. But I'm partial to PG.

Okay. What do you currently have for amplification?
Do you have the Kodas in the kicks?

I have clarion components in the front & kicker coaxials in the rear powered by a soundstream van gogh 800.5
(4x50 rms + 1x400 rms @ 2 ohms)
even though this system sounds good, I prefer a little louder & much harder hitting bass.
I read many good things about the kodas, so i'm planning on putting the clarion comps in the rear & putting the koda's in the front doors.

Here's what I'd do:
Put the Kodas components in the kicks. Put another pair of just the Koda 6 midbass drivers in the doors. Use it as three way system. Cross them over around 250hz or so. The power handling of your midrange drivers will be increased substantially. i.e. you'll be able to push them louder.
This way you're actually ADDING something to your system. You weren't adding anything other than a few measly watts to your system in any of the above options. The audible difference between 50w and 75w is about nothing. Since the Kodas are probably less efficient then your clarion components you'd probably be LOSING SPL. You fix this problem and add more overall SPL POTENTIAL AND SQ capability by going with my plan. Bi-amping the midrange and midbass sections of your system will produce significant benefits. See: https://sound.westhost.com/bi-amp.htm
Use a 4-channel amplifier up front then. (i.e. 75x2 to the Koda components and 75x2 to the midbass). Drive the rears off your deck power or leave them out. Either way, they don't matter much.
Then go with the Brahma 15" and 1000w or so.
