I have a 1993 honda accord.  Broken in, radio stolen, broken steering colum.  Now the ignition switch for radio only doesn't work.  Right now the radio remote and battery line are tied to tegether (always on).  Is there another way to tie in to the radio and soon amp to turn off when the key is removed.

check fuses.  also, if you need just run a new ignition wire off the steering column to the radio.

If you say "I already know how", don't ask me a single question.

There is a white cable by the switch that broke off.  I don't know where it goes so I taped the end off I did try to put it back where I thought it went but the fuses keep blowing.

White = (+)12V constant

BLACK / YELLOW = (+)12V ignition

These are each in your ignition harness.(the harness of ten gauge wires going from you ignition to your fuse box area).

I'm not sure what you mean by "ignition switch," but i'm going to assume that you are referring to the hole you put the key in.

As for that white cable, if it has solder on the end of it, it probably attaches to your ignition where your starter wire, 1st and 2nd ignition wire, etc. connect.  Solder it back on.

Check for any loose or exposed wires, and replace fuses as need in both dash and under the hood.
