When I turn my system on everything is fine. after jamming for a minute I turn the volume down my woofers have a constant ringing pop sound. Ihave 2-12's and 2 amps running mono. Each running on a single + wire about 3/8 inch diameter and a seperate ground for each about the same size. The input of the second amp is running off the pass through off the first amp. Everything was working fine for about a week and now this???? the sound is quite loud even with the volume turned all the way down.

Hmm.  Hard to say from your description, but I'd get it looked at.  Could be you are running your gain too hot but who knows?  Go to the shop where you purchased your gear and get them to listen to it, could be still under warranty.

If this an Eclipse aluminum cone sub then I can say that I have heard this noise and it in that case was a defect in the subs manufacturing process, a real annoying sound actually.
