The Blazer needs a new battery. My question is how does the Rockford Fosgate Battery compare to an Optima Yellow Top? My plan was an Optima Yellow Top, but I have found a RF for under $100, brand new. Retail is supposed to be $302 and it is 950 CA, doesn't say what the CCA is on the package. I know the Optima is 650 CCA and 850 CA. What do you guys recommend?

I don't think RF makes their own batteries,it could be good but i would go with the Optima any time,it'reliable and will outlast all conventional batteries out there,i have mine (Optima red top for 6 years and still really good battery),why i said conventional ?,because Optima uses spiral instead of vertical lead plates, even Interstate (i think they own Optima now) has a version with spiral cell technology.
