So on the show Trunks! they were wiring in a second battery and said not to wire it to run 14 volts or you'll fry all 12 volt ecessories. Recently some guy laughed at me when I said this so I'm wondering if anything will happen running 14 volts. Possibly the show said it to protect themselves?

Yeah the show is protecting themselves, anyway a normal car battery is full charged at 12.5 volts anyway, in normal automotive electrical system runs between 12.0 and 14.4 volts, my numbers may be slightly off since Im a computer progammer and not a Installer

AHHH i would say no! Alot of truck espically the newer trucks run and stay around the 14v area.

How can someone who is competing in a show do anything to the people who are giving the show, because they run to many volts to there guages and so on?

Someone was BS'ing you big time!!
