I know nothing compared to most people on here, but for the extra 100 i would go with the 2 10's. It is gonna take up more room, but i think it will better. It really depends on yor prefences and what you listen to. There both good deals.

Actually I didn't do the math but the W7 needs a much bigger box than the W6. The W6s will fit in a tiny sealed box.

well lets put it this way 2 subs will be louder than 1 10w7. ur 210w6v2's powered properly will be a bit louder than ur 10w7 by a couple of db. Its all up to you and what you want to do the 10w7 doesnt really need a huge box. These are specs reccomended from JL:

1 JL 10 W7: Sealed Volume: 1.25 cu. ft. (35.4 ltrs.)
Ported Volume: 1.5 cu. ft. (42.5 ltrs.)
            Recommended Tuning: 32 Hz

1 JL10W6V2: Sealed Range: 0.50-1.00 cu.ft. (14.0-28.0 lts)
            Ported Range: 0.75-1.25 cu.ft.

the w6v2 comes in dual 4 ohm model only so you can wire 2 for a 1ohm load which is nice for decent class D mono amp. Also the 10W7 is a SVC 3Ohm which is kidna weird but you can still power it well with a good 2ohm stable amp.

My opionon buy the 2 10W6v2's much better in my opinion. JL's are underated you can feed em more power than they say i have a single 12w3v2 d2 recieving 550WRMS @ 4ohms and it slams hard.

Personally, I would prefer the W7 as it uses their optimized motor for better SQ.  Also, you don't need twice the power available for two subs and 1 sub is more than loud enough for my tastes.  But either way, I think you will be happy.  Those subs are very nice.

1 W7 with sufficient power is plenty.

I think a single W7 in a hatchback will be far more than enough.
My cousin has 1 12w7 in his new Eclipse. It shook his rear-view mirror off (the mirror tooke a chunk out of the window with it when it came off), and cracked the front windshield.

i had a 10w7 in my 03 si. sounded great. it wass in the jl ported ienclosure. the only reason i took it out was because it didnt seem to cover alot of the frequencies i wanted. put in 2 12w6v2s in and sounded well wicked. (sealed enclosure btw) but eventuallly put 2 10w6v2 in the jl sealed enclosure. sounds super. thanks 4 asking
