Basically I want to know how to set up the gains on my amp, the settings on my woofers, the crossovers, The EQ on my deck everything in order to make it to its performing peak. It seems there is soo much to set up. With my home audio i just plug my speakers into a nice amp and they make great sound. Here is what I have, Deck- Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP  Front- Infinity Perfect 5.1  5 1/4 components  Back-  Infinity Kappa 62.5i  6 1/2 2 ways. Subs- 2 Infinity Perfect DVC 10". Speaker Amp-Infinity Ref 7540a pushin 111x4 @4ohms, Sub Amp- Infinity REF 1210a <---Dont know if i should run the subs at 4 ohms or 2 ohms. The main reason why i want help is because I'm not here to try and blow my windows, What i want is Sound Quality. I have a Klipsch home audio system that i love and it just seems like this set up in my car has that same potential I'm just having a conflict of how to set it up. I've done all the wiring myself, 16 Gauge all around to the speakers 12 to the subs Monster Competition series RCA's and a 1.2 Farad Cap. If you could give me any advice at all on how to get the best out of my system that would be awesome. I have a 1990 Prelude. I want the speakers to cover the Full Range as much as possible. Suggestions such as which way to face the subs, in or out, what to set crossovers for etc Would be greatly appreciated. Im willing to try whatever you think it will take. Thanks alot

Start with reading this thread.  Do what DYohn says in there.  Get the gain set first.  After that if you have one question at a time ask it.
