You might look at Focal's Audiom TLR or TN51's.

That's a very broad question.
How much power are you going to beable to supply to the tweeters?
Do you like your high freencies to "stand out" above the mid and/or low frequencies?

Crisp high end, use titanium or aluminum tweets.
Warm smooth high end, use silk tweets.
Just to be the absolute shiznit, use ribbon tweeters.

Crisp high end... Is that Latin for "knife stabbing me behind the eyes"? LOL
Metal dome tweeters suck, IMHO. I've never heard one I did like - not even the Focal Ti stuff, which everybody else seemed to like, for some reason unknown to me...
Yes, a true ribbon is the way to go for primo highs... I have the old school Infinity eMIT ribbons in my doors, and I love them still... Paid 25 bucks for the pair for a demo box set that never got hooked up - just looked at in a showcase! BE CAREFUL, though, they don't like to be overpowered at all! Very little difference between continuous and peak power in a ribbon.
------------- It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Sancho: are you going to use an electronic crossover from the midrange to tweeter, or?
