I need to know how do u calculate how much max power amp u need for multable amps or speakers. For example: 2 subs with rms 600 each and max at 1200 watts, do you get an amp thats 600 watts max or 1200 watts max??

And does it matter if they are 2 or 4 ohms?

Get your amp so that it matches the combined RMS! Max power is just a marketing ploy.

It does matter whether or not it's 2 or 4 ohm depending on what configuration your subs are in.
