i am looking at the rockfordfosgate stage 1 8inch sub.i need some tight clean bass nothing boomy,i am going with SQ sound.i have jl audio 6.5 comps.in the door and running them with a kicker kx350.2,i want ed to know what you guys think of the stag 1 sub and if you think it would do good for what i got,and for the SQ im looking for.

it really depends on where you'll have it located in the vehicle. if its under youre seat it'd be great, but in the trunk, theres no way! But, fosgates are good, especially the 8" punch because it takes such little space and cubic feet, i have 2 punch stage 1s (10 ") and they sound great but thats in a reg. cab truck though!
