my drivers side speakers on the liberty arent working, i have tried everything, the speakers will work fine when i place them on the passenger side, i even bought another factory head unit thinking a channel my be fried in the old one. i am tired of screwing with it and now i am running new wires to all the speakers, if anyone has a wiring diagram for the 02 liberty i would really appreciate it, or if you know why the speakers arent working now it would be great thanx

Check the balance control first. Chances are that if it is fine then there is a hidden amp with a blown channel for both front and rear speakers to go out on one side. If you have a meter, do a continuity test on all of the left side speakers lines to see if one wire is going to ground. If one wire is grounding out somewhere it will shut down the left side of the amp and in some cases all output will cease.

i have checked the entire car for a amp with no success. and the wires arent shorted out they are open, at least the 2 door speakers, i havent tackled the dash yet because it looks like a bitch to get out. does anyone know where the amp would be located if i had one?
