ok I searched for about two hours and couldn't find exactly the answer I was looking for so I am just going to ask....I was once told that if I run an amplifier's High input in parallel to lets say in this case the rear speakers on my deck that the head unit would not see any harm from the added load...so Again the question is basically can I splice into my rear speakers to get a high level signal for my amplifier without harming my factory deck or losing output from my rear speakers?...Thank you in advance for your help on htis matter.

The answer to your question is yes. But I have a sneeking suspition that your are attempting to hook it up using the outputs on the amp. DO NOT do this. You have to hookit in through the speaker level inputs of the amp. If your amp doesn't have speaker level inputs, you'll need to get a line level converter.

no i most definately wasnt going to do that i was talking about using the high level inputs on the amp... thank you for you quick response.
