A friend put a Clarion APA 450 Amp into my car, which has a Clarion DRX8175 stereo, which has no pre-outs. He put RCA ends on the harness and ran it into the amp using the Line Level Input, not the Speaker Level Input, which use different connections. Is this harming the amp? It actually sounds fine though. Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like he used a line level converter. That is the proper way to do it.

Hey, thanks for the comeback. And if not? He says it is ok as is. This amp will recieve a speaker level source using a connecter called a Moulino or something?

Bsically, if its makin noise its right. I can't think of any way other than the right way to make an amp work off of a factory radio.
