Does anyone have an idea how i can make my power inverter come on/of like an amp does. I don't want to have to remember to cut it off every time i get out the car.

get a SPDT relay....

Run a fused wire from your battery to where ever your inverter is

ON the relay....PIN CONFIG....

Pin 87 12V+ input from batt...

PIN 86 Remote turn on (Any key-on key-off source)

PIN 85 Ground

PIN 30 12V switched output to inverter

Just make the connections on the relay and ground your inverter...You will need to either cut the cigarette plug off the inverter or buy a cig plug and attach it to the relay and then plug into that...

That should do it...If I am wrong plz post....I am very tired and going to bed...

I did one of these in a new Dodge Magnum, but since it was rated at 1000 watts, I used a 200 amp battery isolator.
