I'm trying to install a new hu on a 83 Mustang. The problem I'm having is bypassing the stock amp. Everytime I dissconnect the harness from the amp I lose power. Also I can not find a constant 12v. The Wire diagram states "Light GREEN/ Green ", which is no where to be located. I am straight "hot" wiring...

fact. amp takes a common ground input. and gives a chassis common ground output.. you have to run all new wires to all the speakers you want to play.. as far as the constant 12+ volts........ you prob. only have keyed hot.. run a new 1
