I was looking to buy some speakers for my truck and want a low hard hitting bass for it any suggestions on the type of speakers. I was thinking of 12's because of the truck is extended cab and any advice on the amp that i should get

thats the thing i am hoping to get 1995 - 1999 and chevy the system that i was planning on getting was infinity speakers and either a legacy amp or power acoustic both 600 watt two channel amps ------------- Ryan Mertz

Legacy and Power Acoustic are not highly regarded amps. Try sticking with more well known and regarded name brands. Alpine, JL, MTX, Kenwood, Phoenix to name just a few.

Yes, the speakers are fine. Check out the JL audio E-1400. 500 Watts RMS @ 14.4 volts @ 2 ohms. This should drive your subs fine.

i would get a less expensive amp like alpine for those subs. that jl amp isnt bad and is overrated but also overpriced. i say this and i like jl.
