First off as this is my first post I want to say hi to all here.

I'm looking to use some capacitors as high pass filters. I freq I am calculating on are

400 hz on the rear 6x9

1000 hz on the 6 1/2 in the doors

and 4000 hz to the 3 inch dash mounts.

I was just wondering if these freqs are about right,  and if I'm pushing about 50 watts to each speaker would a 35 Volt cap be enough??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Frank

Don't know bout the caps, but I can tell you that your crossover are to high.

6x9 should be about 70Hz
6.5 shold be about 100Hz
3 should be about 1000Hz

HERE's a guide that can help you.  I agree with Francious70's suggested Xover points for generic use.  Be sure to use only non-polar capacitors designed for crossovers.
