I pulled the factory unit, and there are 2 connectors on the back a 16pin and a 20 pin, the wiring kit I have only has the 16 pin connector... whats the extra 20 pins for?

premium sound. you will have to buy another plug for amplified system and use it too.

well, I went ahead and installed the deck without the second plug, and everything works great. Sounds way better than the old factory cassete deck. I cant see this truck having premium sound, as it is a base model truck...
Could it be a generic harness and not be hooked up to any amplifier?

ok............whats the third harness for? the one with 8 pins?....also while you're at it , tell me the color codes for the 16 pin harness...ex. what color serves what purpose? i got no bass in my place.
