i really want to put evil eyes in the [slot]port of box.
im building a new one so i can get tools to any part of the box but i dont want there to be anything sticking out that will cause noise.
any ideas would be helpfull

Ive seen this done a few times at car shows down here in Miami, the leds are so small I dont think you will notice any port noise at all from it, the bulbs would stick out what 2-4MM at most?

You could look into some fiber optics you can get DC 12 volt strands that are as thin as a human hair
