I have a 2001 Chrysler Concorde, and the OEM Stereo was gounded to itselt with a grounding strap. Has anyone out there ever used a grounding strap. If so how can I ground my aftermarket stereo to the same strap or is that safe???????

its fine just take that strap and twist the new ground in the loop than tape it so it will not come off but the better way is find a piece of the chassis and ground the wire with a self tapping screw.
