Subject: box ? with separate amps

Equipment used will be 2 JL10w6v2 and 2 Zapco 500/1.
A shop recommended going with a ported common chamber box. Is it advisable to do this with separate amps? They said that they could use rta to match amps.

I am sure that you could do it using the proper equipment but why bother? Just use one more piece of wood and chamber the box and you are far better off.

What chance of extra db? If your subs are canceling each other out in the common chamber then you will lose db.

i guess to do it the hard way. the one port will keep the box from being deeper so i at least i'll have more trunk space
