Well I completed my install tonight, and all I can say is WOW!!!!
Its a 98 sebring with 2 P3 12's , and a T10001bd. It is VERY loud! I will try to get some pics up soon. I think I need a new head unit, or ad some bracing to the back of my Alpine 7873. It has been a good radio for the last 3 years or so, but now when I turn it up to 23-25 it starts skipping...lol
I didnt end up using any caps, or upgrading my alternator. I installed 2 new red top batteries(1 in front&1in rear) And I dont think I have any current problems. I added one 2/0 welding lead ground in the front to the strut tower and two 8 gauge ground to the firewall and fender. I also added a 8 gauge engine ground, and two 8 gauge wires to the alt. The batteries are connected together by 12' of 2/0 welding lead and the rear batter is grounded to the frame. (I ran all the wire under chassis) The high end amp (old school coustic 460) uses a 8 gauge power wires connected directly to the rear battery. The T10001bd uses #2 welding lead it is alson connected directly to the rear battery.
I would like to get me some sort of circut protection!!! I would need one for the front and one for the rear. Does anyone make a 12 circut breaker with 3/8" studs to bolt the welding lead to? What would be a good amp rating??225 amps or 200 amps? The t10001bd has a 180amp fuse and the coustic has a 40
post some pics.... thats a lot of wording.

Well the pics will have to wait. The amp crapped out on me today. I just brought it to the shop to have it sent off. I only got to listen to 1 song today. I went to let a buddy listen to it and it was only putting out have the power with a distorted output. Very agravating and depressing. well I'll try again in 3 weeks! For now its back to the good old reliable Kicker zr360.
