Has anyone ever mounted 5.25" speakers in the doors of a Grand Am. Also has anyone replaced the factory tweeters in their Grand Am, in the factory pilar?? how hard was it? I would like to know what I am getting into before I go ahead and purchase some.

I have ran a 6.5 componet set in a 2000 Grand Am, using the factory pillars for the tweets. Though I have never put 5.25's, The tweets weren't hard to mount, all I did was used a small piece of backstrapping and formed it around the tweeter, mounted it to the strapping, and then mounted it to the door behind the pillars.
