ok i got (2) KFC-W2503 10" subs. they are 4 ohms each. i also have a kenwood KAC-823 amplifier. my question is this.
these are the specs for the amp.

at the very bottom it has ratings for 2 ohms and 4 ohms
now my question is if i just wire the subs to the amp regularly is it pushing 2 ohms or 4 ohms? and if its pushin 2 that wont hurt my subs will it?
im still new to all of this so any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.:)
Your amplifier requires a minimum load of 2-ohms per channel. If you bridge the amp, the lowest load is 4-ohms. I don't know what you mean by "connect normally" but if you have 2 4-ohm SVC subs, the best you can do with this amp is wire them in series and bridge the 8-ohm load on the amp. Or connect one sub to each channel, which is the exact same thing.
Connecting the load to the amp incorrectly will harm the amp, not the speakers. Make sure you set your gain properly as Kenwood amps go into clipping very easily and THAT might hurt your speakers. If you don't understand this, please do a search on this forum.
